Mais lorsque sa meilleure amie Léa Olivier commence à sortir avec Thomas, les choses commencent à changer et les questions existentielles se bousculent dans sa tête. Pourquoi semble-t-elle être la seule fille de son âge qui n'a jamais embrassé de gars ? Pourquoi tombe-t-elle toujours amoureuse de ceux qui sont déjà pris ? Originaire de Québec, Catherine Girard-Audet est diplômée en littérature de l'Université McGill et en traduction de l'Université Concordia. Elle a fait sa marque dans le milieu littéraire en créant le populaire ABC des filles en 2008, un guide pour adolescente devenu rapidement indispensable. En 2012, elle publie le premier tome de la série La vie compliquée de Léa Olivier qui connait depuis un succès mondial.
